Redcliffe Farm Shop and Cafe, Lebberston

Much like The Rowan Tree in Bridlington, Redcliffe Farm Shop are keen to source their ingredients locally, often from their own farm.

This breakfast didn't disappoint; a saturday brunch. A bit pricier than their regular full english, but there's more to it. Worth the extra pound or two (weight and money!)

Hash browns were a good touch, chips were an option but maybe too much to add to the plate. The black pudding was excellent; a good size portion and beautifully soft with a melt in the mouth consistency.

The Farm Shop and Cafe have outdoor seating and a play park for the children with a few rabbits and chickens to look at. It's definitely worth a visit for the full english, the sausage or bacon sandwich, salads and pies are all excellent too.

The Rowan Tree, Bridlington

A fantastic cafe on Regent Square if you don't mind a variety of Buddha statues looking over your shoulder as you tuck into your fry-up.

They sell organic, fairtrade and locally produced food and drinks. All very good quality freshly prepared and cooked.

Their full english consists of bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomato, fried egg, black pudding, beans and toast. Plus they throw in a tea or a coffee.

Price: about £5

It wasn't a full plate but it was well cooked and very good quality. I'd go there again.
